Our lead architects and consultants attach great importance to a precise analysis of your specific IT environment. This enables us to design tailor-made concepts and solutions for the smooth running of your processes. In doing so, we draw on the wealth of experience of numerous successfully implemented customer projects. For implementing your IAM solution, KOGIT provides everything from a single source: a concept tailored to your needs and professional implementation. Our most important advantage in consulting and implementation is our in-depth know-how about products and architectures – and over 16 years of practical experience.
Every IAM project starts with a kick-off meeting. This is where planning takes place with all parties involved. Coordination and communication are then carried out by a fixed contact person who collects the tasks and passes them on to the consultants. In addition to classical project management methods, KOGIT supports an agile approach, which is usually better suited for IAM implementation, but still not widely used. Through milestone reviews, we check whether changes have occurred within the project which entail new timely tasks.
We support our customers throughout the whole project and pay particular attention to testing and quality assurance measures. This can be based on manual or automated tests. Implementation and test execution are separated from each other in terms of personnel.
Customizing
In many IAM projects, a large part of customer requirements can be covered by the configurable functions of our partners’ standard solutions. This keeps projects lean and future-proof. In some cases, however, very individual requirements may arise that cannot be covered by configuration alone. KOGIT provides customization to meet even the most complex individual customer requirements. Our customizing services include customized adaptations and extensions as well as plugins and add-ons developed by KOGIT itself, which complement and extend our partners products.
For example, we have developed the SoD Matrix Plugin, which provides a graphical interface for the maintenance and visualization of the Segregation of Duties (SoD) for SailPoint IdentityIQ. The topic of archiving and proof of historical authorizations of employees, which is very important for internal and external audits, is addressed by our IIQ History Plugin. It complements SailPoint IdentityIQ with an efficient archiving option for identities, roles and access rights. With our Role Analytics Plugin we simplify the navigation between different tasks in IIQ and offer users a user-friendly way to view identities, roles and permissions with their relationships. Loading data from SAP OM and transferring this data from SAP to SailPoint IIQ is now possible with our SAP OM Importer Plugin.
With our AddOns SailPoint2Doc and SailPointTester we facilitate the presentation of customer-specific adaptations to SailPoint installations and an efficient testing of project-specific adaptations for SailPoint IdentityIQ.
Solution Support
A professional and sustainable Identity Management solution requires above all a holistic and efficient Solution Support.
Because of our strategic partnership with the leading IdM specialists SAP and SailPoint, we can implement and support the best and market-leading products for our customers. After completion of the implementation and rollout phase, we offer our customers comprehensive solution support for the identity management infrastructures and systems used. Our specialists of the KOGIT support team know the IT environments of the customers and can therefore optimally classify problems and offer fast and direct solutions.
Trainings
KOGIT’s trainings and workshops are always tailored to the needs of our customers. We offer courses both in-house and on site with our customers.
Architecture Board
With the new KOGIT Architecture Board we offer our customers additional services for SailPoint’s IdentityIQ.
Tool-agnostic representations of typical IAM architectures are structured according to functional and process-related topics, responsibility and other topics. Our portfolio includes services such as code reviews and sanity checks, as well as document-like services (e.g. don’t do lists).
Content examples for individual architecture components:
- Publication vs. synchronization of identity data (LDAP, Virtual Directory, synchronization from IAM)
- Management of external identities (use of non-HR sources: CRM, SRM, student administration, …)
- Integration of IAM with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow
